Capitol Chapter
- On February 18th, ONI and the NIP CC sponsored another in our series of joint presentations in the NMIC. ONI Command Historian Randy Balano gave a fascinating presentation on OP-16-Z, the branch of ONI that interrogated captured Nazi submarine officers and crewmembers during WW II at Fort Hunt, VA. I have a total of 10 DVD’s of this presentation available to lend out to interested NIP members, so let me know if you want one and I’ll get one to you as soon as I can. Please include the mailing address you would like me to use for shipping. For a copy of this DVD, please contact:

- RADM Larry Poe will give a presentation in the NMIC in April 2010 – topic and specific date TBD. DVD’s will be recorded.
- By summer 2010, I hope to arrange for:
-
- A presentation by former USS Liberty crewmembers (attacked by Israel in the late 1960s) and perhaps an author of a book on the same subject, and
- Another presentation by the former CO of USS Cole (attacked by terrorists in Aden, Yemen) and the FBI Special Agent in Charge (SAC) who investigated this event.
